The Zapotron has been one of the most iconic sniper weapons in Fortnite. It was introduced briefly in 2017 for only about 30 minutes before Epic Games removed it. Very few players got the chance to use it, making the Zapotron one of the rarest weapons in the game.

However, OG Season 2 brought back classic elements from earlier seasons, including the return of iconic items like the Zapotron. Excited fans rushed to experience the Zapatron, only to be let down.

Players found the Zapatron ineffective on the PC version of the game, dealing no damage at all, despite being fully charged. It seems that the Epic Games testing team overlooked this issue with Zapotron in Fortnite. Although the bug was addressed by the developer later, but the fix didn’t fully resolve the issue.

A Twitter user named Guille_GAG posted a video in which he uses Fortnite’s Zapatron weapon against a stationary Iron Man skin, but it deals no damage. The player repeats this process, and still, no damage is done to the skin. Although Fortnite assured fans that the issue was resolved, some players are still facing problems after the update.

Players have been forced to use other weapons, including pistols, which surprisingly seem more effective than the Zapotron. Its charging time makes it difficult for players to aim accurately, even when it works.Players who expected the same damage as on console have been disappointed.

The target reacts to being shot, but shows no signs of damage, even after multiple shots. One Twitter user suggested that this issue might be related to anti-cheat, as console players aren’t experiencing the same problem.

Fortnite’s team is actively working on resolving this issue players are facing with Zapotron, and hopefully fans will have the quality experience in a while on PCs too. On that note, what do you think of the Zapotron having a game ruining bug? Let us know in the comments section.
