Nintendo Switch 2 Might Be Revealed This Week
The highly anticipated Nintendo Switch 2 might finally be revealed in the week of October 28, according to Brazilian journalist and Nintendo insider Pedro Henrique Lutti Lippe.
Known for his Nintendo-related finds, including his report on the Switch 2’s delay to 2025 earlier this year, Lippe suggests that the new console’s reveal could happen between October 28 and November 1.
Importance: All eyes are on the Switch 2, especially as its predecessor has continued to perform remarkably well even after more than seven years. Given this, Nintendo needs to approach the launch carefully to avoid repeating a situation similar to the Wii U’s missteps.

During a recent YouTube livestream, Lippe narrowed down the potential dates, indicating he would keep an eye on Nintendo’s social media channels, especially on Monday and Tuesday, as the company may tease the console a day ahead of its official reveal.
This timing mirrors Nintendo’s strategy from October 2016, when it dropped a teaser for the original Switch just before the main announcement.
Lippe’s prediction also aligns with his early October claim, where he expected Nintendo to announce the Switch 2 before the month’s end. He reasoned that Nintendo might want to make this reveal ahead of their November 5 earnings report, as the device will likely be a focal point of investor questions during the upcoming call.
Though Lippe’s reputation as a Nintendo insider is strong, he has had a few misses, including a Nintendo Direct forecast for April 2024, which he later acknowledged he shared too hastily. Still, his record with Nintendo rumors gives weight to his latest prediction.

Adding to the speculation, another known Nintendo leaker, Pyoro, has recently changed their Twitter profile by setting their username to the ‘eyes’ emoji and updating their banner to feature the newly released Alarmo clock, sparking further buzz among fans about an imminent announcement.
Nintendo itself has only stated that the Switch successor will be announced before the end of the fiscal year on March 31, 2025, however, the above rumors seems to hold a lot of weight, but we won’t be making any promises.
Moreover, recently a user on Famiboards shared hidden details about component shipments that might be linked to the Switch 2, which implied that the console’s release might be pushed as far back as holiday season of 2025.
While we can’t confirm if these rumors are accurate, we’d be thrilled to finally see the Switch 2 revealed this week, as the anticipation has been building for quite some time, so our hopes are up for the near future.
