Astro Bot has undoubtedly been one of PlayStation’s biggest hits. Since its launch, the game has built a massive fanbase and even won the Game of the Year Award 2024.

PlayStation seems to be leveraging its mainstream success once again, following the release of a DualSense controller, as reports indicate that a PS5 and Astro Bot bundle is on the way.

A reliable leaker, billbil-kun, has revealed that Sony is planning to release a PS5 and Astro Bot bundle in North America and Europe. The package will include a standard PS5 console (with a disc drive), a download code for Astro Bot, and possibly a discount.

Importance: Astro Bot has received widespread acclaim since its release, so Sony bundling it with the PS5 is a smart move, leveraging the game’s popularity to drive console sales.

The standard price of a PS5 with a disc drive is €549, but according to billbil-kun, a price promotion between €474 and €499 is expected. Given the excitement the game has generated since launch, the bundle is likely to perform well, especially with the reduced price.

This leak holds significant credibility, as it comes from a reliable leaker with a strong track record of accurate information. Additionally, Sony’s recent announcement of a State of Play for February 12 further reinforces the claim.

The leaker also suggests a potential release date around March 13 for the bundle. With a State of Play scheduled, it seems like the perfect opportunity to announce the bundle, and the rumored release date appears quite plausible.

While this information is backed by solid evidence, nothing is certain until an official announcement is made. However, we have strong confidence in billbil-kun and remain optimistic about what’s to come.

One thing is certain: the game offers plenty of content for players, and PlayStation has no plans to let it fade anytime soon, as they continue to release new content periodically.

On that note, what are your thoughts on a PS5 and Astro Bot bundle? Would you consider buying one? Let us know in the comments section.
