A recent Marvel Rivals ad may have unintentionally revealed that two iconic characters, Human Torch and The Thing, could soon be added to the game’s roster. Launched with 33 characters, Marvel Rivals has quickly gained popularity, but fans are hungry for more heroes, as developers have yet to announce any official expansion plans.

A leak spotted by Twitter user Rivals_Leaks reveals an intriguing detail: a Marvel Rivals ad shows Human Torch and The Thing on the character selection screen, despite neither currently being part of the official roster.

Both heroes belong to the iconic Fantastic Four, a team fans have been eager to see represented in the game. While no release date is confirmed, the community is abuzz with speculation that their arrival could coincide with the upcoming Season 1 update.

    Marvel Rivals

Despite being out for only a few weeks, Marvel Rivals has become a major hit, standing out with its superhero-based gameplay reminiscent of titles like Overwatch and Paladins. The developers have kept the community engaged with regular updates, events, and skins.

Interestingly, this isn’t the first leak suggesting Fantastic Four members might join the game. Earlier reports hinted that Mr. Fantastic could also be on his way, making the addition of Human Torch and The Thing even more plausible. However, some fans are disappointed that there’s been no mention of Invisible Girl so far. For now, all these revelations remain speculative, as the developers haven’t confirmed any new characters.

    Marvel Rivals

The anticipated Season 1 update, expected in early January, might bring even more excitement. Another leak points to Ultron joining Marvel Rivals alongside the Fantastic Four heroes. If true, this update would provide a balanced lineup of roles, including one Vanguard, one Strategist, and one DPS character, offering options for players with different play styles.

While fans await official announcements, the idea of seeing Marvel’s iconic characters in the game keeps the hype alive. Whether these leaks come to fruition or not, Marvel Rivals seems set to continue building its success with fresh content.
