As PlayStation continues to evolve, users are seeing a range of changes, including pricing adjustments across all subscriptions and tiers. PlayStation Plus continues to enhance its offerings, providing members with a wide array of titles that cater to a variety of tastes—from modern hits to nostalgic classics.

A new PS Plus update has arrived, which drops 6 fresh games across the Extra and Premium tiers. The update includes Battlefield 1, Hogwarts Legacy, Lost Records: Bloom & Rape – Tape 2, and PlateUp for Extra subscribers, while Alone in the Dark 2 and War of the Monsters are exclusive to Premium members.

PS Plus Extra members don’t have access to the Premium-only titles, but Premium members can enjoy all the new additions from the Extra tier as well. With Premium being the highest tier, it provides the most expensive gaming library and additional perks.

Importance: These ongoing updates not only introduce exciting new games but also offer subscribers more choices, enhancing the overall gaming experience. With exclusive discounts, cloud storage, and early access to select games and betas, PS Plus remains a vital service for PS users worldwide.

Hogwarts Legacy headlines the April PS Plus Extra lineup with magical action and immersive storytelling

Extra Tier Gets Head Start In April With Early Access Titles

April 2025 has been a busy month for PS Plus, with subscribers receiving early access to two PS Plus Extra games on April 10—Blue Prince, a highly rated puzzle game, and EA Sports PGA Tour, a big-budget golf sim. This early release is a departure from the usual schedule, where Extra and Premium updates occur on the same day.

Blue Prince was ranked alongside Hogwarts Legacy as one of the most anticipated titles on PS Plus Extra this month. However, the Premium lineup has received less enthusiasm, with neither of the two new additions generating much excitement among fans.

PS Plus Balances New Games With Notable Losses

This month brings a wave of new titles for PS Plus subscribers, but it also sees the departure of several games from the service. The removal of titles like Animal Well and Slay the Spire from the PS Plus Extra catalog is a noticeable loss.

However, the 6 new PS Plus games drops softens the blow, giving layers plenty of fresh content to dive into.
