PlayStation Reveals List Of 55 Games Enhanced For PS5 Pro
Sony Interactive Entertainment has unveiled the complete list of PlayStation 5 titles that will leverage the enhanced capabilities of the PS5 Pro, set to release this week.
At launch, 55 games will feature improvements such as advanced ray tracing, PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution, and higher framerates of 60Hz or 120Hz, with additional titles to be added later.
The lineup includes major first-party games like God of War Ragnarök, Horizon Forbidden West, and Spider-Man 2, alongside popular third-party titles such as Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, Dragon Age: The Veilguard, Alan Wake 2, and Star Wars: Outlaws.
Importance: The success of the PS5 Pro hinges on the significance of its upgrades over the base PS5. If the improvements are not substantial, many gamers may opt to stick with the original PS5, potentially leading to the PS5 Pro’s failure in the market.

Sony presented detailed technical specifications for the PS5 Pro during a recent event. The upgraded console, priced at $699.99 / £699.99 / €799.99 / ¥119,980, will feature a GPU with 67% more Compute Units than the original PS5 and 28% faster memory. This enhancement allows for 45% faster rendering, significantly improving gameplay smoothness.
Additionally, the PS5 Pro introduces advanced ray tracing capabilities, enabling light rays to be cast at double or triple the speeds of the current PS5. The new PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution, an AI-driven upscaling technology, offers sharper image clarity for a more immersive gaming experience.
It is yet to be seen whether the PS5 Pro actually appeals to its audience or not, however, early impressions of Sony’s mid-gen console seems pretty good.
