One Piece, created by Eiichiro Oda, is one of the most popular and long-running anime and manga series of all time. Since its debut in 1997, the series has captivated millions of fans worldwide with its adventurous storytelling, rich world-building, and iconic characters.

Over the years, One Piece has expanded beyond manga and anime into movies, merchandise, theme park attractions, and video games, solidifying its status as a global phenomenon. Now, after months of speculation and leaks, reports suggest that Epic Games is gearing up for a major One Piece crossover.

A rumor, initially leaked by NotPalo and later confirmed by Wenso, suggests that One Piece is still set to arrive in Fortnite as a two-wave crossover. The first wave of the One Piece skins coming to Fortnite will feature Luffy, Nami, Zoro, Usopp, and Sanji, with additional content, including more characters and items, coming later.

Importance: This crossover is expected to introduce a wave of new cosmetics, items, and possibly themed in-game events, attracting both anime enthusiasts and longtime Fortnite players. Given One Piece’s massive global fanbase, this collaboration could boost player engagement, drive in-game sales, and further cement Fortnite as a cultural hub for major entertainment franchises.

XboxEra’s Initial Leak And Growing Anticipation For One Piece Skins In Fortnite

Rumors of a One Piece collaboration began in February 2024, with the first leak from XboxEra podcast hinting at a project in development at Epic Games. However, delays in its release have hightened anticipation, leaving fans eagerly awaiting official confirmation from Epic Games.

Given Fortnite’s history of anime crossovers—including Naruto, Dragon Ball, Atack on Titan, and Jujutsu Kaisen—a One Piece collaboration feels inevitable. With new leaks reigniting speculation, fans are more eager than ever, anticipating Epic Games’ official announcement to see One Piece skins coming to Fortnite and hoping for a full-scale integration of their favorite characters.

One Piece Anime Returns After Six-Month Hiatus

Adding to the excitement, the One Piece anime is finally returning after a six-month break and is available to stream officially on Crunchyroll and Netflix. The Fortnite x One Piece collaboration is set to bring both fandoms together, making this crossover a highly anticipated event.
