French game publisher and hardware maker Nacon has unveiled an extensive range of accessories for the newly announced Nintendo Switch 2. Among the offerings are new Joy-Con grips specifically designed for the upcoming Mario Kart game. Nacon appears to be one of the first manufacturers to officially reveal products tailored for Nintendo’s next-generation console, which is set to receive more updates and game announcements during the April 2 Nintendo Direct.

Nintendo Switch 2 was officially revealed on January 16 after months of speculation. The console maintains the successful hybrid design of its predecessor but introduces several upgrades, including a larger display, slightly bigger Joy-Cons, dual USB-C ports, and backward compatibility with most Nintendo Switch titles. However, some older games may lack full support on the new system.

Nacon’s accessory lineup features a variety of carrying cases, chargers, and protective gear. Standard soft and hard-shell carrying cases will be available at launch, starting at €14.90 ($15.53). For added functionality, cases bundled with screen protectors, cleaning tools, and storage for up to four game cartridges will cost €19.90 ($20.74). The “XL Carrying Case” (€24.90) offers space for 10 game cartridges, two Micro SD cards, and extra accessories like third-party controllers. For gamers seeking maximum storage, Nacon’s “Storage Case” (€29.90) can hold two Pro Controllers, four Joy-Con pairs, the console’s power adapter, and an HDMI adapter.

Additional accessories include transparent and black silicone protective cases, tempered glass screen protection kits, and Joy-Con wheel grips (€9.90/$10.31). The Joy-Con wheel grips, sold in pairs, are designed for local multiplayer gaming, particularly in the new Mario Kart title. Nacon will also offer 30W and 65W AC chargers priced at €14.90 ($15.53) and €29.90 ($31.16), respectively.

Perhaps the most exciting accessory is Nacon’s Folding Steering Wheel (€29.90) as revealed earlier on Techtroduce, which utilizes both Joy-Cons to deliver an immersive racing experience. Featuring four suction cups for stability, the foldable wheel is tailored for the upcoming Mario Kart game, though it may also be compatible with other racing titles expected to be revealed at the Nintendo Direct.

Nacon’s early reveal of Switch 2 accessories positions the company as a key player in supporting Nintendo’s next-generation platform. With products designed for convenience, protection, and enhanced gameplay, Nacon is ensuring that gamers have everything they need to fully embrace the Nintendo Switch 2 experience.
