Indiana Jones and the Great Circle has dropped an exciting launch trailer packed with new gameplay footage. This preview arrives a week before the game’s official release, building anticipation for the latest adventure featuring the legendary archaeologist.

The game’s December 9 release date was confirmed back in late August 2024. Since then, publisher Bethesda has been steadily ramping up its promotional efforts. From sharing fresh footage to offering media outlets early access to the game, they’ve been ensuring fans remain intrigued.

Continuing this momentum, Bethesda has now released the official launch trailer for the MachineGames-developed title. While launch trailers typically debut closer to a game’s release date, this one aligns with the game’s three-day early access period. Starting December 6, players who purchase the Premium Upgrade DLC for $34.99 can dive into the game early. This add-on also includes bonus items such as exclusive cosmetics and a digital artbook.

The three-minute trailer highlights the game’s diverse gameplay and stunning locations. Viewers are treated to glimpses of settings like the Himalayas, Vatican City, Thailand’s Sukhothai temples, and Egypt’s deserts. An intense action scene aboard a stormy ship, previously teased, also makes an appearance. Gameplay elements showcased in the trailer include exploration, puzzles, platforming, and combat.

The mysterious Great Circle, central to the game’s story, is featured prominently in the trailer. This artifact is rumored to channel supernatural power, a theory supported by the game’s antagonist, Nazi archaeologist Emmerich Voss. In previous teasers, Voss expressed his sinister intent to exploit the circle’s otherworldly abilities. The trailer even offers a spooky moment around the 1:50 mark, where Indy encounters a startling mummy.

Fans eager for critical impressions won’t have to wait long—reviews for Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will start appearing on December 5, just ahead of the early access launch. Microsoft, Bethesda’s parent company, has confirmed that the game will initially be an Xbox console exclusive but only for a limited time. A PS5 version is planned for release in spring 2025.
