Elden Ring Player Conquers Final DLC Boss Without Taking A Single Hit

One incredibly skilled Elden Ring player has managed to defeat the final boss in the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC without taking a single hit. This remarkable feat stands as one of the most impressive achievements in the game since the expansion’s release.

Spoilers for Shadow of the Erdtree ahead.

The Shadow of the Erdtree DLC for Elden Ring launched on June 21, and while many players have already completed it, some have found the final boss particularly challenging.

The revived Radahn is known for his immense strength, poise, and a seemingly endless array of attacks, making the battle a chaotic and difficult experience. Even some seasoned players have described the expansion as too difficult, with the final boss being the most challenging part.

Despite these challenges, Reddit user jaded-dreamer5 achieved a flawless victory against Radahn without taking a single hit. Stripping their character down to undergarments and a hood for optimal light rolls, they employed a strategy centered around using the Buckler to parry Radahn’s attacks.

Importance: Shadow of the Erdtree has been deemed even harder than the base game, with the final boss being particularly challenging. This makes a hitless run in such circumstances extremely impressive.

Jaded-dreamer5’s strategy involved staying close to Radahn and deflecting his attacks with precise parries. By mastering the boss’s attack patterns, they were able to stagger Radahn quickly, then follow up with critical hits. This approach is similar to the one used against Malenia, another tough boss in the game, where three parries are needed to stagger the opponent.

Their hitless fight, which lasted under two minutes, was not only a testament to their skill but also involved a bit of luck, particularly during a moment when Radahn’s stomps and the camera obstructed their view. The player was slashing Radahn with a dagger whenever possible, combining perfect execution with an aggressive strategy.

However, he was not gifted with this extraordinary skill from the get go, as he admitted that he died to Radahn over 500 times and had to use a greatshield the first time he managed to win.

This achievement adds to a growing list of impressive feats by the Elden Ring community since the DLC’s debut.

FromSoftware’s fans continue to push the boundaries of what’s possible in the game, with feats like these demonstrating the high level of skill and ingenuity within the community. The release of Shadow of the Erdtree has provided new challenges and opportunities for players to showcase their abilities in Elden Ring.
